D01. Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel and installation.
D02. Drive to Botanical garden and phulchoki hill to observe birds with a naturalist.
D03. Arrival at Biratnagar airport. Reception and drive to Camp about one and a half hour. On the way to camp many interesting things can be obeserved. The naturalist guide briefs on the facilities of the camp and its activities.
D04: The day always start with an early morning wake up call, which is the best time to see birds. Bird watching on first light for the early walkers. In the camp premises and marshlands can be very rewarding to observe the shy species like Cracks and Bitterns. The highly nocturnal Fishing cat which hunts in our camp ponds can sometimes be seen at dawn and dusk and one has to be very silent to approach the ponds. Breakfast and full day bird watching walk inside the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve with pack lunch. The area between the Camp and Kusaha ( Park Headquarter) is the best area for birds and wildlife. The thin Indian Rosewood forest provide excellent habitat for Warblers,. Flycatchers, Oriole, Bush Warblers, Raptors and a large varieties of Wader, Bush Warblers. Returning to the camp by late afternoon for a cup of tea/coffee or a bottle of chilled beer! Dinner and at last briefing for the next days program.
D05: Breakfast cannoeing in the Koshi river on a rubber boat, observation of waders and raptors, some wild water Buffaloes and the sandbanks. After lunch in the afternoon exploration of ponds and lagoons on the way back to camp. There is very good chance to see the rare and endangered Swamp Francolin, a speciality of Koshi.
D06 In the morning bird watching around the camp premised before breakfast and departure for Biratnagar airport, 2 hours before check-in time. Arrival in Kathmandu airport and departure to Nepalgunj. Reception at the Nepalgunj airport and transfer to Bardia by private transport 4h arrival in lodge , reception, installation and information about lodge and its fascilities. Short visit of Tharu village. Dinner.
D07. Jungle walking following the foot trails of " Royal Bangal Tiger" whole day jungle walking with pack lunch. Guide guides you following the feet steps smell of tiger. You feel lucky if you encounter the tiger. Wild life in the park Asian Elephant, Great one Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hilgai or Bull, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena.
D08. Jungle safari on Elephant back. There is chance to see Asian Elephant, Great one Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hilgai or Bull, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena and other animals. You encounter small mammalians during the elephant ride, visit of visitors center, visit of crocodile reproduction farm and Tharu cultural museum. Afternoon nature walk, an excellent opportunity to discover wild animals. And in the evening Tharu dance.
D09. jungle drive or second time elephant riding. And in the evening Tharu dance.
D10. Departure for rafting in Karnali river pack lunch in the day. Opportunities of observing wild animals and birds during the raft along the Karnali river.
D11. Visit of Dolphins along the Karnali river and after lunch departure. Arrival in Kathmandu by plane and transfer to hotel night in hotel.
D13. Kathmandu to Bharatpur by plane Arrival andArrive at Chitrasari Chitwan from Pokhara or Kathmandu, Reception by naturalist. Transfer to the Lodge, refreshments and a briefing about the afternoon program and the lodge facilities. Jungle safari on elephant back. An excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys and many other smaller mammals.

D14 Nature walk: An excellent opportunity to see a great many of those over 500 different species of birds which have made Chitwan their home.Dugout canoe ride along with Dungre/Rapti river. An excellent opportunity for bird watching and to see the 2 rare species of crocodile; the marsh mugger and the fish eating gharial. Jungle Excursion through he Sal forest and mixed forest for more wildlife viewing. A cultural dance presented by the local Tharu villagers.
D15 Elephant safari, nature walk or at leisure. Jungle drive approx. 36 km round trip to Kasara Gharial Hatchery(Park Headquarter). Village walk; A conducted tour tot he nearby ethnic Tharu village. A slide show presentation about the natural history of the national park.
Or
For Bird Watchers and other Enthusiasts. Full day excursion to the Churia hills for Bird Watching with our knowledgeable naturalists. Pack lunch will be provided. A cultural dance presentation by the local Tharu villagers.
D16 Wake up call for elephant safari, nature walk or at leisure. 0930 hrs: Departure from the lodge for onward journey. Arrival in Kathmandu by plane. Night in hotel.
D17 Free day in Kathmadu
D18 transfer to airport.
